Grad Class of 2013
They were like a princess and a prince, a gentleman and a lady. Shooting this pair of friends was, for me, a special occasion. Kayla was my so-called "Kindergarten Buddy" when I was in middle school. The buddy system was set up to help young students feel more included, to show them the ropes, and to get the older students caring for the younger ones. We did things like read together, play together, and I'd help her get bundled up to brace the winter weather at recess. I was so excited when she asked me to take her graduation pictures! What an honour to help capture her sweetness and beauty on this very momentous day. It was more than a photoshoot; it was a reunion.
Some bubbles, white poster board from dollerama (for lighting), and a couple of grads dressed to the nines made this one of my most enjoyable shoots. Thanks Kayla and Jordan :).
