My first family shoot was nice and chill, comical and spontaneous, and even a bit mischievous! I guess that's what you get when children are in the mix :). I had never worked with kids on a shoot before, but now I know that the reward is worth the challenge. It's not every day that I'm asked "are you going to be in the pictures?" :). Those two little blondies stole my heart.
Even with what seemed like a rough start (hail in fact!) the Brauns would not let their spirits be dampened ;). As the skies cleared we went right on with shooting. After the rain the colours were so lush it was like my eyes had a vibrancy filter on.
The Braun's were full of ideas and creativity, and they had no problem going along with some of my more obscure requests (like climbing in a cardboard box). I felt right at home with this inclusive bunch, and I'm so pleased that Ruth asked me to photograph them. Thanks for investing in me.

\Ps- I permit comments.

I love these. you are so talented. next time we need family pics I hope you can come up to Saskatoon
Our family is not together very often , so when we are having pictures is important to me. I just love how you captured our family, these will be treasured forever. Thanks for going along with our craziness.
Matter of fact, I'm in Saskatoon more than Regina during the year! I go to Bethany Bible College. Thanks for the encouragement by the way, email me if you ever want to talk photoshoot :)
